We recommend 16 strands for your lovely traditional bow or recurve bow.
How to choose the correct string size, the actual string is 3 inch shorter than AMO length. For example, the AMO length is 62 inches, then the actual length is 59 inches. But for the recurve bow, it is 4 inch shorter than the AMO size. If the AMO size is 62 inches, then 58 inches is the correct for the recurve bow.
